ok! Let's talk about my winter vacation.
so~ I went to tones of places, some even twice.
Taichung, the place I return once a year during Chinese new year's eve. Different from the past, instead of playing fireworks, we stayed in the house and be fat. We stayed there for one night and left the next day, but before that, we visited a lot of our relatives (who I don't remember who they are).
It's a bit awkward for me and my sis just stand there watching our parents and old people having a nice afternoon chat. Back to Taipei, had a couple days of rest, then we headed to Hualien, took us 3 hours by train, also means 3 hours nap. The view from the hotel we were staying was gorgeous, you can easily see the train tracks, the mountains, even a little peak of the sea. I was surprise that the place isn't as crowded as I expect, "chill" on the other hand was written all over the area, people move slow, talk slow, no one is rushing. It's a place I would recommend if you want to relax.
I didn't do any really exciting or worth saying activities, I. just like to have a walk in the field and sit on the chair and enjoy the view. We did visited an old friend, the name is Carolin, an American who moved to Taiwan 30 years ago, she was funny, had a lot of fun talking to her, she even taught me an Italian cruse word that you can use if you are driving and pissed about the driver in front of you. I remember "asshole" is the word if you translated it into English. (BTW dogs are everywhere, and relax, they are very friendly)
The second remarkable event the happened is ........chilling under the beautiful sun!!
The reason for me to have such idea is because of the day back when I was in Europe, I found how they loved to spend time just chilling on the turf under the sunshine, merely this isn't often in Taiwan. whatever~I am still going to do it anyway, so I had a couple friends with me, and we sat on the turf the whole afternoon, to me, that's the best memories during the winter vacation.
(I didn't mentioned a lot of details of these stories, but you can imagine that yourself, anyway~have a good one!)
