Hey Tim.
I’m here to talk about how amazing our presentation are. We had prepare this for over a month, and i really hope it all goes well.
For the morning m, we had to arrive early to decorate the hall way, but lucky, we have seniors to help us( well, they did most of the job ).
Then we went to change and make up, and rehearse the sound effects and lights. And hen lunch, and more preparation.. blah blah.
And Joe shouted, telling us to get ready and go to backstage, for thirty minutes, we had to wait in the dark, without a light in the backstage, and with butterflies in my stomach. The blood flood in my veins. I constantly repeat my lines, walking back and forward. Finally, we start hearing footsteps and chatting, within 10mins, the audience’s seat were full, then all the light went off. It was a complete silence and dark. A spot light shine on Joe, who gave a speech. Then the show is on. The moment cost us days of hard working, nights of preparing, simply just for this moment. When I first walked on to the stage, I couldn’t see a thing, the lights were too bright, but the lines just came out of my mouth by natural. The audiences laughed, I knew i did a great job, but it wasn’t enough, I start acting exaggerating, as much emotions as I can imagine, but natural, and with confidence. But I was too excited and confidence that my arm strained the cable of my microphone, that it fell off, I tried to pick it up, but I can’t, so I had to shout and speak without the microphone. Still, I know we all did a great job with the smile on every audiences face.
